To adjust video output settings:

1.  Use the control buttons located on the monitor to adjust the display size and location. Through these buttons you can change the:

  • Vertical display position.
  • Horizontal display position.
  • Display height.
  • Display width.

2.    Use the control buttons located on the monitor to adjust brightness and contrast.

3.    Adjust the screen resolution.

In Windows XP:

Use the Display Properties dialog box to adjust the screen resolution.

a.  Right-click the desktop and choose Properties to display the Display Properties dialog box.

b.  Select the Settings tab.

c.  In the Screen resolution section, drag the slider to a desired setting. If your video card and monitor support only one resolution, you will not be able to change it. If the video card supports only two resolutions, instead of dragging the indicator, click above the desired resolution to change it.

d.  Click Apply.

e.  In the Monitor Settings dialog box, click Yes to apply the changes.

f.   In the Display Properties dialog box, click OK close it.

In Windows 7:

a.  Right-click the desktop and choose Screen resolution to display the Screen Resolution window.

b.  In the Resolution section, click the current resolution to display the drop down list.

c.  Drag the slider to a setting. If your video card and monitor support only one resolution, you will not be able to change it. If the video card supports only two resolutions, instead of dragging the indicator, click above the desired resolution to change it.

d.  Click Apply.

e.  In the Display Settings message box, click Keep changes to set the new resolution. If you do not click within the allotted time, the setting reverts to the previous setting; this is a safety feature in case you select an unsupported mode.

f.   In the Display Properties dialog box, click OK close it.
